Where Has My Follower Gadget Gone?

I can't seem to add the followers gadget to my sidebar. 

 Does anybody else have experience of this problem?

    I can see it and am following. My problems are in the RSS feed, the blogs don't all show :(

    This is so annoying. Blogger tells me the gadget is there butI cannot see it only the title of the gadget. Tried deleting it and re adding it but I stil cannot see it. Aaarrghhh!
